A Day of Fastfood

Yesterday, it was a long day for me. I started the day with a siopao(asado) from lingnam for my breakfast. At around 10 am, I was at a kiddie party with my fiancee at Jollibee( E. Rodriguez). Tyler Co, my inaanak turns two years old. I gave him a toy car worth P200 and an angpao worth P1000. I felt ashame when the host showed my P200 gift to everybody and she even shouted out loud that it was from ninong Jerry. The lesson I learned here was... buy something more expensive rather than giving an angpao if the party you are going to attend is a kiddie party.

After the kiddie party, we went to Megamall for a window shopping. Our snacks was polo locco(fastfood again). Then we took our dinner at Tina's place. Her Grandma wasn't able to prepare anything for us so we called up 887-8888 for KFC delivery.

Chicken joy, spaghetti and yum with cheese for my lunch, polo locco chicken with soft taco for snacks and Kentucky Fried Chicken for my dinner... A day full of chicken. Didn't feel so well after the day.

I'm planning for a new career, it takes a lot of time, effort and money to invest in my new business idea. I have to go back to school to take an eight months course subject. The class will start on November and Hopefully I will be graduating on July 2006. My problem is that we are going to tie our knots with my fiancee this coming November, I have to sacrifice our honeymoon if I will be going to school next semester.

I'm not afraid if my plan will fail even if I have to invest so many time, effort, money and even sacrificing our honeymoon. I'm more afraid of  loosing the opportunity without trying.

It is better to try and fail rather than not trying at all.

Actually, failure is not in my vocabulary, I'm very positive that I'm going to succeed.

On my way home this afternoon, my car was wiped by a 6 wheeler truck. I was at the right side of the truck during traffic. When the stop light hit green the truck suddenly turned right and hit my  left side mirror then pulled out my front bumper and head light.....The driver came down in a hurry with a very panic face and said " sorry boss, pasensya na hindi ko napansin na nasa tabi ka pala, pasensya na po". I said " ok lang, aksidente yan e papulis report nalang natin". with a calm voice.

I was very very angry at the time that he hit my car, I even shouted and pointed finger at the truck but when he came to me and said I'm sorry, it just toned down my anger. Thats the magic of saying I'm sorry.

Just for Tina

I remember so well. The day that you came into my life. I asked for your name and you had the most beautiful smile. My life started to change, I'd wake up each day feeling alright. With you right by my side makes me feel things will work out just fine. How did you know??
I needed someone like you in my life, that there's an empty space in my heart and you came at the right time in my life. I'll never forget, how you brought the sun to shine in my life. And took all the worries and fears that I had. I guess what I'm really trying to say, it's not everyday that someone like you comes my way. No words can express how much I love you....
